I wanted to talk about this subject because it has a special meaning to me. My mother had breast cancer as well as lung cancer and it was so sad to experience it with her. Even though she didn't survive it, I know my whole family is stronger by observing how strong my mother was during her battle. Although other family members have had cancer, I was honored to be the caregiver to my aunt during her last 2 months of her life. It was the hardest thing I ever did, yet it was the best thing I ever did. Seeing her strength made me realize that in life anything is possible.
